Last month I was lucky enough work with Liesl and Paul during their fantastic wedding a Pounui Homestead in the Wairarapa. It was just about the last day of Summery weather but despite overnight rain the weather held on for us to provide some brilliant weather. Sadly I believe that this was the last time that Pounui Homestead will host a wedding, but in many ways that made the day feel even more special and unique. Liesl got ready in Martinborough and we took the Bridal party shots both at Pounui and down by the coast at Wharekauhau (where it must have been ten degrees colder than than Pounui – thanks for being good sports guys!). Liesl’s design skills came to the fore at an extremely well dressed reception area!!! It was also a doubly special day for me as it was my own wedding anniversary (I have a very understanding wife!).
